Hi guys, Can I get an appraisal on forerectiledysfunction.com please? 110,000 global exact matches for the term erectile dysfunction
In my experience having a stop word in the domain name completely ruins the EMD. Even if you see that many "exact match" searches in Google, you won't see a fraction of that traffic. There is no way 110,000 people a month are searching for "for erectile dysfunction". When I look it up in the Google keyword tool it tells me that exact match term gets 140 searches. Where are you looking? It's obviously incomplete without the rest of the phrase and I would say this domain is worthless.
Interesting. Thanks for your appraisal. My understanding of stop words was that they are essentially ignored. I guess I got that wrong.
I would agree with the above post (Dreamzdb) your domain loses the EMD side of it, however you might have a small chance at branding it for the e-dysfunction but will have to put a lot of content on it in order to get a small look into that keyword arena. Just my thought on it though.
Exactly... If you purchased this domain, I wouldn't let it go to waste. Don't get too caught up in using EMD domains to rank for keywords. Yes, they do help, but they also severely limit what you can do with the site. It's pretty difficult to find a good EMD, especially when it comes to high level TLD's like .com and .net. You might have some luck w/ .infos. There are other, easier and more expandable ways to rank keywords though. Also, your domain might be good for PPC since keywords in the display url are bolded . With that said, your particular niche might be difficult to get approved. I tried something similar and it was never approved.
yeah I did purchase it but it was a dropped domain so it has only cost me the reg fee. I didn't shell out a load of money on it. I was curious as to whether it was worth anything purely as the domain itself, I guess not. It's fine though, I will stick to my original plan of building it with content and doing it that way.
would it make it any better to add subdomains to it to complete the search term like cure.forerectiledysfunction.com pills.forerectiledysfunction.com or not?
