Being a big electronic music fan it seemed only logical to combine that with some ninja skills. Result: Creating an EMD for the Ultra2012Lineup.com Why? 1. I like House Music 2. Building a list of Ravers in case I decide to promote a festival or sell a related product to that demographic 3. So I can give away a pair of tickets 4. Make a few dollars off of Adsense 5. When you start to search for Ultra 2012 the next suggestion is Lineup So with all of the above in mind I decided two weeks ago to make a quick wordpress site the plugins that I added where: 1. All in one SEO (I now prefer this over yoast) 2. Only Wire 3. WP Opt IN 4. Google Analytics (to track progress) So overall after a little bit over 2 weeks into the mix I am currently ranking number 4 for the search term receiving over 100 hits a day and have a list of 60 opt ins thus far and it will obviously grow tremendously over the next few months leading up to the electronic music festivals event. Future Plans Do a press release and continue to rank the EMD, make some adsense $$, build the list, and either sell the site or keep it for PR sculpting and promotion purposes.
