EMD Still Ranks ?

Really a perfect example.This is what you all guys need to do,Give people real value with your product/service and content.Rather than just always checking in your keyword going up and down,Social media campaign no results.Give people value and try to apply positioning strategy to build a special desire place of your service in your users eye to establish a good brand identity.
SEOMOZ,SEL,MLand Opensiteexplorer these are all examples of brand identity.These guys gives value to there users and see they are currently market leaders.

 

I'd rather have a branded domain name than an exact match domain. Seems like they rank A LOT better and faster than EMD's. I had one EMD and it lost it's front page ranking. Barely did any link building and the content sure wasn't rubbish but still gone. If someone was to take this route, they should go for an easy to rank keyword, diversify the links and anchors, and aim for top quality content written for people.

 

The thing is you have to make quality effort, doing link building and creating content, it would rank, there is no penalty of having EMD.

 

Yup another example added here by mekap.My personal experience these days will only tell you guys.Go man you are hit by penguin/panda forget about past.Start doing Good/valued based stuff trust me you will get back.
Brand name domains are more suggested right now than natural keyword based domain names.
You guys never know,"When MR CUTTS is doing next video/tweet with new Google update".lol.
