Embedding videos and images are now really easy in WordPress 2.9

    With WordPress 2.9 it is now very easy to embed videos and images.

    Just paste the video or image URL in its own line on your post or page and WordPress will automatically embed the video or image.

    You can embed videos and images hosted on:

    * YouTube
    * Vimeo
    * DailyMotion
    * blip.tv
    * Flickr (both videos and images)
    * Viddler
    * Hulu
    * Qik
    * Revision3
    * Scribd
    * Photobucket
    * PollDaddy
    * Google Video
    * WordPress.tv (only VideoPress-type videos for the time being)

    :) yes , it's true . But it's still not so easy to embed your own flv video, laying on your server

    This is a great feature. What I want enhanced, however, is the media size feature. Hope the medium and large size photos can be cropped in exact dimension as you have set it just like the thumbnail.
