Hope this is the right section - if not my apologies in advance.

I have a question on embedding videos in a webpage and how it effects transfer usage on a website.

If you let someone embed a video on your blog or site - does your site take a hit on the data usage of showing that video - or is it the place that hosts the video? If I am putting a youtube video on my page, does it cost me anything extra in terms of data transfer or is that all entirely assumed by youtube?

I'm trying to decide if i should allow videos on a site. Trying to understand the nuts and bolts of video from the backend. Any info is appreciated. Tks

It is 100% covered by YouTube, it will not use any of your hosting bandwidth.
