I want to embed my twitter feed onto my website using code from twitter. But I am doing really well in my SEO effort that I am worried this will knock me back in google.

Do you think it would make a difference to my SERP?

    Cheers

Why would Google penalize people for using Twitter?

why google is going to penalize you for using twitter?
It an open network for all.
As far as SERPs are concerned i dont think that it will help you to maitain the rankings.
To increase your rankings you must create some quality backlinks.

Cheers for the replys. I am not adding twitter for SEO reasons. I want to add a feed to my website frontpage, but wanted to make sure it did not affect my google position. When I change my home page in anyway, I.E add a bit more text, BOOM, I slip down in the rankings. Sod it, Ill have a go........!
