embedding music - flash alternatives

I have various audio clips embedded in one of my sites. I don't like a straight mp3 link as 1) it opens an external player 2) people can save them (don't really want that)

So i've been using a small flash script, that gets passed the mp3 filename as an argument, then plays the file without leaving the page.

But today I find it doesn't work on apple products.

Great. Is there an easy alternative? Can anyone give me an alternative that works with ipads etc?

HTML5 audio tag might do the job or a solution like the jPlayer - http://jplayer.org

Well you can try the alternatives that ApocalypseXL stated...and it's normal for Appl devices not to work with it...as the browsers don't support flash. I am not sure if you can get this function to work even with an HTML5 tag.

Ya but think about all the cash that is flowing in the iPhone and iPad markets . Most of the owners have quite a bit of money .
