Embedding a youtube video

How do I embed a youtube video into a post?

I've tried taking the embed code from youtube and pasting it into the HTML screen, but Wordpress keeps wiping it out. I press update and the code disappears.

Do I need to use a plugin?

I'm trying to embed several videos into the post.

Thanks for the link, but for some reason Wordpress won't embed the video, or at least the latest version of WP doesn't. I have it opening in a new window so the visitor won't leave my site, but I was hoping to embed it.

Thanks I got it

For some reason WP wasn't letting me embed the video on that page, but it would on other pages. So I deleted the content and then it let me embed the videos. Weird

Just Add new Plug in to your Wordpress site. Try the Viper Video Quick Tags and I think this is what you need.
