Embedding a font

Still at work on my website. Going well.

Just to review - I know Photoshop pretty well, but almost nothing about web development.

I'm trying to get away from Georgia for text, and I'd like to embed a Fell Type:
http://iginomarini.com/fell/the-revival-fonts/ and use this for text. It is said to be free with attribution. My questions are:

    1. Is the state of the art on font embedding such that this should work fine for most (80%+) people who hit my site?

1a. Is there a method/methods that is/are agreed to be the best for embedding fonts?

    2. Does it take a lot of addtional time to do this? How much more time (in percentage) does it take to do this? I'm just trying to get a rough idea of how much additional a developer would be justified in charging to do this. For what it's worth, my site will have about 30 pages, but not a lot of text - maybe 1800 words total.

    Thanks

You can do this easily with CSS3. Try searching for web fonts to give you an idea. If you're not that good with HTML/CSS then I would suggest you find someone to help you with this.
