    What you did was add a negative exact match keyword.
    To add this keyword as an exact match and not negative, use the following syntax:
    Broad match: keyword
    Phrase match: "keyword"
    Exact match: [keyword]
    Negative broad: -keyword
    Negative phrase: -"keyword"
    Negative Exact: -[keyword]

    Hope this clarifies it for you

    yes i tried -[keyowrd], but google adwords saying " you cant bid on negative keyword". That means google adwords is treating this type of keyword as a negative keyword.

    Do you mean expanded match? If so, just use broad match and you're automatically opted in to expanded match.

    I see what you're talking about, it's matching option that's really just a combination of matching options. I've actually used it quite a bit but honestly never realized it had a name:)

    So to answer you intitial question you need to enter a regular & a -.

    For example;

    Blue widget manual
    -[blue widget]

    In that example your ad would appear for blue widget manual (and other related terms & variations) but would not appear is someone just searched for blue widget.
