Embed youtube videos in wordpress

was wondering if you guys can give me some tips on Embed youtube videos in wordpress
ive seen it done on blogs and ive tried various plugins but i cant seem to get it right

sorry if this is a gnub or rehashed question i searched but coulndnt find anything about here on dp

I use Viper's Video Quicktags and it works like a charm. You can embed youtube, google video, your own flash, wmv and some other sites.

I'm confused...all I do is paste the embed code directly into the entry

 

no download the plugin install and activate it
it will give u a new button on ur toolbar to insert youtube urls etc

I guess I'm old school then...using the embed code doesn't bother me at all

 

Alternatively, turn off the visual editor.
Options - Users - [click on the username] - Uncheck the box showing "Use visual editor when writing".

And then paste the embed code into a post.

 

i do the same without using any plugin i use embed the code given by them..some times that makes messy and pages don't load..so

there i compiled how i embedded the codes correctly ...... no need of any plugins is required in this case.

 

use viper video its a cool and easy to use.

 

I use Youtube Brackets. It's a simple one file plugin and it can be found here.

You just do [youtube=URL] or you can just copy the embedd code to your post, it works for me.

 

Just tick off rich text editor and paste the embed code in the post.
