It is illegal if you do not have the rights, and technically it is illegal if no rights are supplied when the videos are on Megavideo themself. Creating your own original content will get more views than a copy of something else, especially a Disney based show, as only young children watch those, and they are hardly going to find your website and scroll through pages of megavideo embeds when they can just put their nice shiny big TV on.

no, it's not a kid's show. it's a teen show. I am getting a good traffic and the season 4 is airing these days.

should I get rid of it ?

It's contributory infringement to even link to the videos (if you live and/or host in the US - and certain other countries). It's against the adsense TOS (if you are running it on the site). Using the show name in the domain is trademark infringement no matter where you live. I would never take the legal and monetary risk of operating this type of site.

Business like this is full of risks. Just dont know if its worth doing, as anyone of those "good traffic" people can report your site.

In June of 2005, the U.S. Supreme court ruled 9-0 in MGM v. Grokster that sites that permit P2P filie sharing of copyright works are guilty of contributory infringement.

In October of this year, Lime Wire stopped distributing and supporting its file sharing service after losing a court battle with the record industry.

It is pretty obvious that operating a site that allows downloading of copyright material is going to cost you more money in legal fees than you ever make from your site no matter how well it is doing.
