Embed Video Player

Does anyone know of a script for a nice video embedder? I want to embed videos from my site but don't want to use the default windows media player & interface. I'm not looking for a huge "youtube clone" type of site, just something simple where I can embed videos from my site (a nice player interface)

    Thanks

Yeah, if you're kinda limited if you stick with Windows Media...if you can convert you files to FLV, you'll get alot more options regarding the player.

Yeah, Im using My Screen Recorder Pro 2.6 to make video tutorials for one of my websites. I can save a 30 second video as an .avi but it's like 100MB! If I save the same file as a .wmv its only about 1.5-2MB, so obviously Im going with .wmv.

Maybe I can find a program to convert .wmv to .flv without reducing the quality and without making the filesize huuuuuge. :)

What you should look for is one that converts from AVI to FLV...just skip the wmv all together. If you haven't seen it before, you should check out Super from eRightSoft... erightsoft.com/SUPER.html converts to everything and is pretty fast...

If you want player customisation, you will need to create a FLV player

As for me there is no need to convert WMV to FLV - use silverlight.
