Hi i was just wondering if there is anyway to convert .avi files to .wmv this i want to do so i can embed the .wmv in a website as i see .avi files does not work.

Or is there any other way? Cause .flv quality is not really good.

Also all needs to be done on webserver.

    Thanks alot

You're going to need a converter to do that for you. I've seen a few of them online, but most are commercial in nature (and not cheap), so I haven't used them. There are some free ones available as well, but I don't have any experience with those either.

(Besides, you can use .avi files in your Web page if you know what the proper MIME type for it is. You might want to read up on Bye Bye Embed for multimedia files and Flash Satay for Flash files specifically.)
