    I would to use this code or something similar to embed a video:

    <object type="video/mp4" data="gra/image.jpg" width="640" height="480">
       <param name="href" value="video/mp4/video1.mp4" />
       <param name="controller" value="true" />
       <param name="target" value="myself" />
       <!--<![endif]-->
          <img src="gra/image.jpg" alt="Video" />
       <!--[if !IE]>-->
    </object>
    Code (markup):
    It's suppose to work in the iphone and the ipad, but I also need it to work on IE.
    Problem is that I only see the quicktime logo and the movie doesnt load.
    Also... Does anybody know why I need data="gra/image.jpg" in the first line?

    Unfortunately I can't use <embed> for several reasons.

    Thanx
    M.

    Try this:
    <OBJECT CLASSID="clsid:02BF25D5-8C17-4B23-BC80-D3488ABDDC6B"
    CODEBASE="http://www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab" WIDTH="160" HEIGHT="136" >
    <PARAM NAME="src" VALUE="videofilename.mp4" >
    <PARAM NAME="autoplay" VALUE="true" >
    <EMBED SRC="videofilename.mp4" TYPE="image/x-macpaint"
    PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download" WIDTH="160" HEIGHT="136" AUTOPLAY="true"></EMBED>
    </OBJECT>
