- You need more content, prefarably graphical entries as embarrassing photos would attract more visitors and keep them in the site instead of long stories. Yeah we are lazy - You have to open user-friendly-url feature in your Wordpress Settings. Your entries are looking like this right now -> embarrassedinpublic.com/?p=19 but it should look like this -> embarrassedinpublic.com/President-Bush-can-not-open-the-locked-door.html It is very important for search engines as you can see it contains some keywords and it increases the chances of your site to appear on those keywords (or at higher positions). - You can try a livelier theme. The theme is very simple and bit old and not very impressive to me and add more content that will help in promoting the site..
