Embarassing Beginner CJ question

I've been using CJ for a little over a year, but have never got into the PPC arena. I'm looking into it and I have a few questions I just can't seem to figure out.

    1. Can I just use the affiliate link listed in the 'keyword link' as my destination link for my ad? Is this what is called Direct Linking?
    2. Is there a way to review the T&C of active advertisers that don't have pending changes? I understand I need to determine if direct linking is allowed on a case by case basis but I can't seem to find current T&Cs anywhere

Any help would, as always, be much appreciated.

You would be better off making a website for each one. A landing page or one page for each product. This way you can describe why people need the product and be able to use most PPC sites. Some do not allow direct link or affiliate url.

    rcj,

I'm doing that for several of the ad campaigns. I wanted to set up a few of the 'direct link' ones as a baseline for comparison.

Is it pretty much just going to be a waste of money to do that?

Not many of the high earners allow direct linking. Although i have made a lot from direct linking, it works but testing can cost a bit heh

Yes, using the CJ link for destination link and the URL of the advertiser's site is direct linking. Several hundred CJ advertisers either directly allow it or don't expressly prohibit it. You can make a fortune doing this and you can also have your lunch handed to you, so test frequently but carefully.

For any program, you can view the T&Cs in the advertiser description window.

    Good luck!
