    How many of you receive emails on a regular basis stating that the email sender will get your website on the first page of Google?

    From my point of view this is easy. All you need do is setup an Adwords account and run a PPC campaign but come on. Really, what these people are talking about is the 1st page top ten search results of Google.

    Have you ever used any of these services and what was the outcome?

    I envy you for getting these emails, because the only spam emails I receive have to do with "P3N1LE ENL4RG3M3N7:"

    But i have the habit of glancing through spam mails also, and that helped me identifying one cool SEO company which gave me a rare technique for driving traffic, so never skip those spam mails, you never know :D

    I have just visited your website and felt like sharing some of the points that came to my mind while going through your website.
    I work with a Website Designing and Consulting company.

    Couple of Immediate Observations Derived::

    • Your website doesn’t seem to be updated recently.
    • Aesthetic uplifting of the site is possible.
    • Your website fails with W3C Validation Parameters.
    • Website doesn't show consistency on different Browsers.
    • Your website is not 100% Screen Resolution Compatible.
    • Your website doesn’t show up on Google & Yahoo.

    I can also share with you detailed pre analysis and review report (based on over 100 website do’s and don’t parameters)

    I guess if few modifications are done to your site it will become sleeker and user friendly for the visitors.

    I don't know why they are sending this email to me. I'm already on the first page at Google.
    Just some spamy seo "companies".
    I just mark those emails as "spam".

    I'm not sure how these companies work but, its pretty easy to rank on the first page for lesser searched / targeted keywords. Just putting that keyword in ur title is good enough. But, for the more competitive keywords, I doubt these companies can really get u to the first page.
