For some time we are having problems with emails beeing delivered to yahoo in bulk folder. This happens with several US servers we have We are NOT sending spam or unsolicited emails, more than that one of the servers is not sending more than 200 emails per day to yahoo but they still get into bulk folder... We have installed domain keys, reverse IP but still no success. I have also filled the yahoo form but I got more or less of an automated email and no more replies after.. There are also servers we have in other countries than US sending emails in other languages and we have absolutelly no problems even if the volume of emails beeing sent is 100 times bigger I am sure there are many more experiencing similar problems. Did you managed to find any solution or trickes to this problem because I am simply out of ideas...
First, you need to find out why they're being sent to the bulk mail folder. Is it because users are clicking on the "This Is Spam" button? This is the mostly likely scenario, and it means you need to fix your email content so your users don't consider it spam and/or fixing your email lists so that you're not sending email to users who don't want it. Just because they didn't untick the box when they were registering doesn't mean they actually want your mail. Make unsubscribe options clear in your email so that they're more likely to click this instead of 'Report Spam'. After you've fixed the underlying cause, if you want a clean slate, you can change the IP address of the server. It will appear to Yahoo as a new server and the bulk mail filter won't be applied, unless once again it builds up a bad record. One of my previous positions involved sending 1M+ emails to Yahoo a day, the key is getting your users NOT to report your mails as spam. Easier said than done of course!
