Do many of you send out newsletters to your users?

    How do you do it?

I made a script that just loops through a while mailing each time.
Will this work with 5000 users or will it probably break? Ive never sent any mass emails before.

Its not spam at all and its all relevant things that any user will want to know.

I send an ezine (newsletter) to my subscribers once a month. I have my own autoresponder script, so it mails to each one seperately and personalizes the ezine.

I use a professional email service: AWeber.com. They guarantee
an incredibly high delivery rate, and virtually none of my emails
are mistakenly flagged as spam by the receivers (which is a big
problem if you're sending them yourself).

I use my own autoresponder (see signature) to set up sequential emails that provide tips and information, as well as upsell my other products. It will also send out newsletters on specific dates. It's always professional to follow-up with your customers, and an autoresponder saves you time when the process is done automatically.
