eMail verification link does not include full URL

    This is a copy of a email verification notice. The link does not include the entire URL. How do I fix this????? Script is PHP. Please help.

    Not enough information. What PHP script? What e-mail client? Did you look at the raw e-mail message, maybe the client is converting the URL for security?

    Make sure there are no line breaks ie \r\n in your URL in the email before you send it. Sometimes when you concatenate it you accidentally put a line break ie \r\n in it.

    This look like a new line character issue inside the mail script.


    One way to rectify this is removing the new line character.

    secondly you just do a

    urlencode(your activation link) and send it .. so the url will be properly encoded to the format and will be sent to the users
