OK there's a lively thread going somewhere on running poll method to generate traffic for email submit campaign. It's said that some advertisers pay $1.10 per email submit - and I've seen plenty others in CPA networks. My question is why would these advertisers pay $1.10 when I think, with that money, the advertisers could just do the poll themselves using PPC instead of paying affiliate marketers the $1.10 per email submit. Any thoughts? Thanks
Because they are huge corporations. Think about the number of affiliates a network has, thousands, even tens of thousands. They can generate them far more leads than any in house program they can run. Plus they have the budget to do it.
It's impossible to allocate ever single traffic source out there. Everyone is different, and there is creativity in each of us. An affiliate might be able to find a traffic source that the advertiser wouldn't have ever though of. So really, this is just a game of expanding. The advertisers want to expand, and it's quite understandable that you cannot expand from only running in-house campaigns.
