I like keeping my 1,100 name customer list on my pc. I use Gammadyne Mailer. It talks to my MS Access customer database, also. It is great software. Been a customer of theirs for years and gotten fantastic and very fast support! I use it with an smtp provider so I can send whatever quantity of email I need (as my personal ISP limits the number of outgoing emails to some small number). You can only send a limited number of emails via a gmail account, etc. I tried online services but prefer to keep and back up my customer list myself. For online website and list building via customer sign up forms, etc., I hear getresponse is good.
