    Hi all

I'm currently setting up my server for my new company website. I plan to have several generic email addresses, such as and , in addition to a few personal ones for members of my company e.g.

When someone emails a certain address, for example , I want to have an email notification automatically sent to a specific address, e.g. , so that I am notified every time that email address has received an email. Can anyone explain how to do this? (Please note that I do NOT want to simply CC/BCC myself into the email in case there is an attachment - my mailbox size is limited)

Also, if I have a forwarder setup on an email address so that all emails sent to are redirected to . However, when John is out of the office he has an "Out of Office" auto responder - so if someone emails they receive an auto responder from John. Is there any way to prevent the auto responder being sent if someone emailed instead of emailing directly?

    Hope that all makes sense!

    Many thanks for your time

Do you have cPanel? Well, regardless of whether you do or not, you can forward the e-mail, but it will forward the e-mail attachments and all. I'm not sure if you can do a notification. At least, not through cPanel. This may be more confusing than it's worth, but you might can have Outlook, and configure it to check the box. Set up a rule to where when you get an e-mail, you can get it to send you a message.
