email-point.com is advertising on DP through adsense

They even use paypal as a payment processor for their services

Is it a scam? Any opinion?

I bought a list of 50,000 emails from these guys, there were no categories as promised and it just a list of social email addresses. I did a test on them and over 70% bounced back as undeliverable - I was also promised that these were 'opt in' addresses but even the few that managed to get through caused complaints, no use whatsoever for a business campaign.

I complained and they just sent me a list of 100,000 emails - I don't think they understand that more rubbish = more rubbish.

Wouldn't recommend them, complete and utter waste of money !!

Not sure what you are talking about. I've used Email Point for a few years now for sending my newsletters for me. I've also done my own bulk mailing using their opted in lists and I've had a pretty good success rate. Bouncebacks were less then 5%. Their lists are pretty good and current.
Perhaps you just had a bad batch or something.
Email Point works for me and the company is real...it's not a scam.

yeah the quality of the data that emailpoint provides is incredibly low. I wouldnt waste your time or your IP's mailing with their lists etc. Get yourself on a decent coreg feed.
