Hello, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct place.

I have set up a few email accounts for some friends on my server, but I have set them a password to log in. They have logged in on outlook, but how exactly will they be able to change their password themselves through Outlook?

Outlook doesn't work that way. You set your password on the server and all outlook does is pass that password back to the server when you need to access it.

It totally depends on which email server are using to manage accounts. Most of the email server software provide web mail interface through which they can manage their account online without configuring in outlook or other email client. The online interface all allows to reset password etc.

May I know which software/email server are you using on your server?

If you have cPanel installed on your server then you can access web mail directly using following link:

    http://yourwebsite.com/webmail
    http://yourwebsite.com:2095

Make sure that the port 2095 is not blocked in your users system firewall or by ISP. You will need to use full email address as a username.
