Email Notification in Optigold

    Hey Guys I can use some help here despite to OptiGold...
    If i send someone invoice by email how can i be sure that it has been sent or not. Because most of time what people do is they receive email and later they say . WE DID NOT RECEIVE ANY EMAIL FROM YOU. So does anyone have any solution for me? I mean can i check the status for delievered email invoices in optigold?

    It's not possible to know if an end user read an email (of any type), because an email client does not have to report back to you if it was read or not.

    You can click on "Audit History" on the customers Invoice screen to see if the message was mailed out by optigold. From there you can check your smtpd's log to see if it received the message optigold, and to determine if it was sent to the email address specified on the account. If the customer's mail is hosted on your servers, you can check your pop/imap logs to determine if the customer downloaded the message. You can't confirm they have actually read it, but you can confirm that it was sent to the correct account, and if you host the email account, whether it was downloaded by the customer.
