Email Newsletter Question

I am sending out daily newsletters from my web site - which is generating some great responses.

However, previously we were only sending out a couple per week to send out. And now we are using too much bandwidth for the host and he is looking at dramatic increase in rates.

Doing some very quick math - we send out over 600,000 newsletters per month. However, the images are hosted on another site to cut down on load as well.

Does anybody have any recommendations on how to send them out? I looked at buying some newsletter applications for a server - which has 500 gig of bandwitdth per month.

Would this be a good solution? Any recommendations?

Are you sending daily to the same list? Are you sure it's going over well with your customers?

Daily would seem to be a little too often for most people to get a newsletter. When I start getting them too often I always opt out. There are some in the past that I looked forward too and read all the time that increased their frequency and at the very least I quit paying attention to them.

Just something to consider. It might be going fine now because you just started doing it daily - it might hurt in the long run.

Thanks for the feedback - you may have a good point that is for sure. We did run them a couple times a week previously, however increase to daily and feel that we have gotten more contact requests, additions to the newsletter and site traffic as a resutl.
