Hi, I have been thinking to generate email news letter from one of my sites (is a bookmarking site). My idea is put together ideas of how bookmaking sites can help promote the content the blogs/sites. But I never have done something like that. I would like to know if any of you have something like that and how this has help your sites. Thanks
Building a list is a great tool. the statistics are that 2% - 7% of the peoples that are part of mailing list - will take action. for example: you have 100 peoples on your list and you sent them mail recommending on a relevant product. 2 - 7 will take an action and will buy this product. You should keep the following rules: 1 - your newsletter must give benefits to the readers and must have good quality. 2 - Promote only good products that you tested. Good Luck!
