I am in the process of offering a new service to my clients of email marketing. This is for the entertainment industry and would include collecting their emails, managing their databases, and more. I was wondering what is the best way to do this. Should I buy my own server or what should I do. I am lost on this and tried to google some info but could not find much. Any help is appreciated.

I checked out there website and that seems to be the type of software I may need. But the main thing I was wondering is if I am going to be managing email lists for multiple clients with an upwards of 500k per list what else would I need if I want to run these from my own server to have full control, or would you recommend another way of doing it.

    Hello primeelite.
We run one that we build. We run ours on and in house server farm but the email marketing service runs on 16 quad servers and has 6 database servers because it is a redundant system mirrored to keep performance (Access) up during the day.
We use a T-3 connection to alow people in to build their campaigns and mainly for the sending.

You can see ours in my signiture and welcome to the email marketing industry. Niche targets are a great start as well.

Thanks logic thats what I was looking for. My company isn't looking to offer this to anyone like your company would so I might send you a private message to ask more sense we wouldnt be competition. Most of my clients would have email lists of 100k and up and would only have select clients.
