I am looking for an email marketing website that provides it's own opt-in list. I have been burned a couple of times, and it is getting old. I asked this before, but did not get much help. My question is; "Is there a REPUTTABLE company out there, that you guys use (not affiliates) that you could refer me too?" I am looking for genuine traffic. ACTUAL people who click the link in the email because they are interested in the service. Does this even exist, or are they all scams? Thanks
I have thought about doing some email marketing in the past but when I did some research on it I found out that most email marketing campaigns are not successful, most of these campaigns do not convert.
Yes, I have learned first hand about this. Wasted a lot of money. I have been reading these posts and have found lots of interesting information on promoting a site. It seems that there is more to do to promote than just email marketing. I even tried PPC and I lost my shirt on that one. Then I tried Miva, and that seemed to be a waste of money too, no conversions. This is a LOT more difficult than just creating a website and then you are a millionaire by tomorrows lunch! Always on the look out for more tips if there are any that anyone wishes to share!
I've tried 2 companies and been burned both times. Now when any email/list company call or emails I tell them "if your list is any good send a small sample test, if the results are good, I'll buy/rent the whole list. They never call back!
I use taketheinternetback.com and only with targeted packages and have a good optin list now I can use myself anytime I want.
Direct Email seems to be a waste of time. Believe me I spent 12 months on this , using every email prog I could get hold of with nil result - joined many direct email websites with again nil result! The "Answer" for me was to spend some money! Joined a Traffic Exchange as a pro member - bought a 2000 member downline which gives me 5-600 page views every day - cost - $850! Joined a couple of Safelist type progs - ListJoe and Viralurl being at the top of the heap - LJ $197 for 12 months and VU $197 one time payment! All 3 of the above has allowed me to move quickly and get involved with new systems as they appear and my optin list grows and grows each day! Hope that helps ! gdisecrets hotforgdi
email marketing only works.. if you urself have builded the list and you know what your subscribers were interested for (why did they gave you there email?) there was days of hyips and autosurfs.. ppl was making 1000$ a day buy just having a good email list.. remember no one will share there email list to public unless its spoiled or dead harvesting emails and bulk emailing is a crime... and its bad// try sms marketing.. and see what happens.. may be it can bring good results if u have a small letter domain name which redirects to ur affiliate program or site..
I just want to intervene a bit here... from my research back in 2006, when i tried my best to be an email marketer... I dont think harvesting emails is technically "illegal"... ie, if you are harvesting emails, and a police officer walks into your room (and knows what harvesting email is), they arent going to lock you up... because, you could post your email on this site right now... If i take your email and email you, theirs no difference in that and harvesting emails and mailing people... the only thing with harvesting emails is you are gathering emails and bulk much faster... the only blackmark part is websites dont want you doing this to their site, and might take offense... but how the hell are you going to get caught? with that said, the only true "illegal" part comes in, if you email someone, they opt out of your list, and you email them again anyway, thats illegalt. Once they opt out of your list you can never email them again, if you do, you broke the law. but emailing them for the first time is in no way illegal. so theoretically, if one was to harvest lots of emails, use php list to send to these emails, nothing really wrong with it... but spam is so frowned upon your not going to get any converts.. not to mention your WEB HOSTING is going to ask you about massive emails going out and ask did you build the list etc... and if you try to just send emails from your desktop using your ISP, the programs are pure bunk and dont work... in a nutshell, from a guy who's wasted hours and hundreds of dollars studying and trying to get around and make a profit around the CAN-spam laws, it's not worth it... its all garbage... like someone said, the only real way to make some money... make a webpage to a targeted audience, have some very interesting / informative / TRUELY HELPFUL info, or info on a new incredible product or service that they need... give them a teaser up front, make them feel like you can really help them.. tell them to submit their email so you can keep them informed on all this incredible info... send them the info weekly or twice a week (with it being truely helpful info) and include related affiliate links in your newsletter with it not looking like a "CLICK ME!!!!" type myspace ad begging them to help you make money... the only thing maybe harder than mass bulk email marketing is spamming craigslist... LLOLL..
E-mail marketing is standing on its last leg, guys. This is not working any more, people don't like being bothered like this. Online Word of mouth is what counts. That's why we have such big networking and UGC sites like Digg, Sumble upon, Squidoo and so on. You have to use these new methods in order to spread your ideas. These networks and sites allow you to do that in a non intrusive way. E-mails are not going to work the way they used to.
I am also thinking to start email marketing... All super affiliates are earning from email marketing.... Just need a right click to be successful..
