Email Marketing

I have an older opt-in email list - old customers of mine. I was wondering if anyone knew of a website or program (for free) that i could use to test to see if the email addresses are still good. I'd rather not send out 100 and see which ones bounce then send out more.

Let me know what you got.

    thanks!

well over a 1000, but I'm sending a test run on 100 through ConstantContact just to see if I like their trial before signing up. i just wanted to see how many of the 100 were good before sending out a mailing.

1k is not that many I think you can start your mailing and analyze bounces to exclude dead addresses.
just be aware of spam traps.

There is a way to validate but it will not be 100% accurate
for example you cant validate emails under yahoo.com domain. Yahoo accepts any email and sends a bounce report later if the address doesn't exists.

here is the free service I created to validate email syntax, domain, account
    http://www.convincingmail.com/emailvalidation.aspx

but you can't validate email lists with it only one by one at this time.

Best to launch a new service and renew your contact first.

    100? That's it?

Copy and past a block of 10 addresss at a time.

How long does that take? .... Maybe, twenty minutes, if that?
