I would recommend using Aweber, a e-mail marketing service. I think you should be able to import lists.

How did you collect them? If its just a list of email addresses you have, do you have permission to send email to them?

If you dont, you might want to rethink your strategy since it is illegal......

If its in any other format, you can usually import them into an emailer to send it out, but then... with 50million email addresses, you would already know that :) Seriously though, some sytems can import from csv's and other well known data formats if thats what you have saved.

Agreed with lukeg... if you don't have permission you can get into a lot of trouble... If you plan on mailling with awebber or any of the other big ones they'll basically ban your account after a few hours when you get xx amount of spam complaints. You can buy a bunch of hotmail accounts (thousands) and purchase mailerking and send that way, however, as stated... that is illegal.

I think mailchimp.com would be another nice choice. But I also think the bottom line would be not to sending out email in spamming mode. :)

    Have a nice day,

Aweber forbids using bought email lists, and your account will get banned. Further more; Using just a bunch of Email addresses that you bought on a DVD or something results in totally UN targeted spam mails. Try to build a targeted list instead by building a squeeze page and give away stuff for free in 2 or 3 steps, deliver value, create a relationship with your list, create trust, then pitch!

50 mill is a lot, but perhaps something like sendblaster.com could handle it.

IF the emails you got were from a legit method, then I would recommend Aweber. They are the 'rolls-royce' of Autoresponders.

If they are not from legit methods, then there is no use in doing any marketing as it will be illegal and uneffective.

You can never send 50 million emails out its impossible to do this safely, legally and without getting your self banned by your isp or mailing company. Aweber is good for small businesses such as online stores due to the return on investment from a targeted email list.

I am currently using Aweber, premier and reliable operator
Someone who just started out internet marketing will be ok to initially use a free emailer, but the more experienced you become and the bigger the number of subscribers become,it seems you need an emailer like Aweber.

PLEASE NOTE extracted direct quote below from Aweber site.
    <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Add People Who Asked You To Add Them
Purchased email lists, coregistration leads and any other people who haven't come directly to you and signed up to your list can't be emailed with AWeber.
    <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

I do not know the origin of your list, but above will apply to other major operators.
So in the worst case ligitimate emailers might be reluctant to handle your list.

that's a huge list buddy, be sure they're aware if you're going to email them. They might report you on spam filters if they get pissed of your emails.

You need permission to email them, or the autoresponder service you use could get in trouble.

Wow, 50 million email addresses, hope they are all double-opted in and CAN SPAM compliant! :S

I see a few people recommending aweber.com here, but I heard recently they had trouble with a security breach/hack that saw a lot of spammers get a hold of people's email addresses. Was anyone affected by this, and does anyone know if aweber have fixed this problem at all? Would be interested to hear any thoughts or observations.

    Hi,

Cool down! How did you get the 50 million email addresses? You better don't spam innocent people, it is way too dangerous.
