I hope this is right forum for this question... What program can you suggest me for doing email marketing? This is not for sending spam but just to send commercial propositions using an existing database of email addresses.

I'm using listmessenger (listmessenger.com). Paid once and dont have to think about recurring payments. Works fine as long as you dont have special needs.

i'd suggest you get a vps or a dedicated server and install interspire on it, thats the best around.

and of course there are those windows based ones too, but i'd recommend interspire

paid email - like here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1827170
users of the website agree to receive advertising in certain categories when they signup
you also do not email them directly but the site emails them your message on your behalf
when they click link in the message they also proceed via that website
so it is 100% spam safe

I personally use Aweber and Infusionsoft (for separate sites).

I like aweber because initially it can be a cheaper alternative and they have great delivery rates... however, they're probably going to require that your entire list opts-in once you try and import them. Most of the autoresponders will require this.

I'm not sure about Infusionsoft on that point, but they do have excellent deliverability and great support. They're kind of expensive though.
