Email Marketing Tool Suggestions

Hi all!

I’m part of a London-based AI startup (Techstars London ‘16) that is enabling marketers to customise user experience at scale by segmenting and personalising content based on each customers’ personality type. We use the Big Five Personality Model to segment your customers and then suggest how to personalise your campaign to each segment using AI. We’ve mainly worked with retail banks so far, but we’re launching a product for digital marketers very soon. We would love to get any feedback you have on our new product and what kind of support you need when building email campaigns.

Currently, our product is a cloud based content analysis and editing tool. You hook it up to your email platform (Mailchimp and Hubspot at launch), it analyses all your customers based on their interactions with your previous campaigns, and uses machine learning to segment them based on personality. It then helps you create variations of any open campaigns, but with image content personalised to each segment, which drives engagement and conversion. We have features to make it interpretable and help you understand why the selections work, and also plans to add in copy analysis very soon.

I personally love using Reply.io to create email campaigns, while still being able to customize individual emails. MailChimp is also a very popular tool that you may find helpful. I'd suggest taking a look at the different types of tools that are available based on the features that you're looking to use the most of. I hope this helps!

I use Active Campaign and it looks like it's not supported in your list of email marketing tools. Are you thinking to integrate it in the future?

Tatiana, your AI email software solution is hard to understand. I don't understand the end result benefit in terms of sales and profits. Can you explain it more in layman's terms?
