    Hello Folks,

I am looking go for SEO for a new website, but many people told me that, If i need real good visitors on my web-site than i should also implement Email Marketing. From the other sources i came to know that sending bulk email can be risky for my web-site. Normally when we send bulk email it goes to spam or manytimes it doesn't even reach to the addressee. Now i am only looking for targeted people to visit my website and also want the stats that how many they opened my email. Are they forwarding it to somebody or they are deleting it.

How to send bulk email or how to do email marketing? and it must go to Inbox instead of spam and should also provide stats.

Is there any software or other technique which can be used for this purpose?

Need your best co-operation. I would really appreciate if you can take this problem serious and help me and other forum users about bulk email and email marketing.

    Thanks in advance

    Robert:confused::confused::confused:

Emailing yourself is one option. A script like Interspire can provide you with tracking your e-mail campaigns. Another solution is going with a company like Aweber or MailChimp. Those solutions all cost money. If you are looking for a free solution then Google provides a solution for you called Feedburner. That solution provides you with an email capture, maintains your list and on any day you update your rss feed, Feedburner will send the update to your list.

In a nutshell, Interspire is the most work, but gives you the most control, MailChimp/Aweber are very good systems. They cost money but give you better control over your e-mail campaigns than Feedburner which is free.

FeedBurner, Well i really don't anything about feedburner, Don't know how to use it.

My main question is if I use email address with our website domain name. How many email i can send in a day? I have heard that our Domain Name can be blacklisted, is that true?....

Interspire is bit costly, I guess i would like to use some Free sources first before i get some results. Recently i downloaded the one software - Kristnix Email Sender, In this software i can upload list of email address and once i click on send button it automatically send email to list one by one. The software have capabilities to send email on bulk basis. But i am confused what is the limit of sending emails from our domain.

Please reply back to me and let me know the answer of above mentioned questions

    Thanks in advance

    Robert

The truth is, you can send as much e-mail as you want per day. Your constraints are bandwidth, processing power and ram. But, there is a right way and a wrong way to market via e-mail. If you market the wrong way, you will get blacklisted quickly.

If you stick to double opt-in, that is confirmed subscribers then you should be alright. I talk about the pros and cons of marketing through opt-in and double opt-in here: http://www.mailpropeller.com/opt-in-vs.-double-opt-in.html

The way you get blacklisted is by people complaining about you. If you get blacklisted, you can get unblacklisted if you have a good defense. Double opt-in is the best defense. Spam, by definition is unsolicited bulk e-mail. Double opt-in is solicited bulk e-mail and therefore is not spam.

To ensure you don't get blacklisted, keep lists specific to your market. If you want to promote to two different markets, use two different lists each specific to the target market. If you do that, and use double opt-in, you should be fine.

    Good Luck!

For reference, here is a blacklist checker tool. Anybody who owned your IP before you could have spammed from it. Before you start sending e-mail make sure your IP isn't already on the list.

You can engage a third party to send the bulk emails for you. If you are going to send bulk emails from your own domain, your domain and IP may get banned for spam. So you need some solution like aweber, mailchimp, constantcontact, verticalresponse, icontact, imnica, sendloop, etc. etc. which specialize in sending bulk emails to people.

Dude try to find out contact details manually.
    donot rely on software.
Track each and every sent mail.
send only 50 mails per day.

Hello, Thank you very much for your informative reply. Can you suggest me some of the Web-mail service provider, because i guess you have done this before, so you may be having some good web-mail service provider. Secondly once i get web-mail service with me what next i need do? Simply compose mail and add list of email in BCC column and click on send with one message ? or i have to send email one by one on every client?

You may pm me for this, I would like to discuss more about this matter.

    Thanks

    Robert

I checked that tool and it seems a very important tool to check whether our site is blacklisted or not... But again its bit difficult to understand who that data is trying to convey? I guess it checks our website or domain with other Blacklisted Domain and if they don't find our domain in that list than it gives status of "Ok"....

How our website can be blacklisted through email marketing???

    Thanks in Advance

    Robert

If you send to someone who dislike your message and files a complaint.. and if you get too many complaints you will have trouble.. you domain may be blocked .. email marketing is risky business.. if you get your emails list through opt-in/double opt-in, it will mitigate your risk

I have Atomic Mail Sender software which is a Bulk email sender software. It has capability to send email through Proxy Server. So i am planning to buy good paid proxy server and above to that i am also planning to have Email Address with domain name other than my actual domain name, so now my email would use another smtp server to send email and if somebody wants to reply to that email than it would be replied to my Actual company's domain....

The IP blacklist tool which I provided you is a good tool to see how clean your IP is. If you are listed on one of the services, it does not mean that your e-mail will not get through. Those services check a variety of things. For example, I had my mail server configured to bounce back invalid recipients. I was listed on backscatterer.org because it was testing my mail server by sending forged e-mail which I was bouncing back. I reconfigured the mail server to delete all bouncebacks instead of replying to resolve this issue. Being listed on backscatterer did not prevent my mail from getting through at all. Namely because the spam filters don't take it into consideration.

The blacklist you want to pay the most attention to is SpamCop.net. I highly suggest going to SpamCop.net and read everything they have.

I trust that the proxies you plan on using for your e-mail relays are good and clean and you have permission to use them from the owners.
