Email Marketing Question

So, couldn't find an email marketing section, so hopefully this will do.

We're setting up a service for a particular business niche - basically a lead generation service, targeting the end users via a mobile app. We need to have a list of businesses to sell these leads to though, so we need to contact these businesses and get them to sign up to our service (free to sign up, pay per lead that they accept). We need to be nationwide with this and there are tens of thousands of these companies around.

I've had an outsource resource go through and find email addresses for a large number of these companies.

I now want to bulk email these companies with this service.

I need to find an email service that allows me to import this bulk list and email them - need to pay on a campaign basis rather than a monthly basis (many either charge monthly or don't allow a big bulk import for spam reasons)

Any ideas what systems to use???

Yes, right. Reputed email marketing service providers such as aweber, icontact, etc will not allow you to import a list of subscribers to their system, until and unless you have some proof that the list of you are about to import are the completely opted list. The best way can be to purchase a script from somewhere and email all them by yourself. Or you find someone who can offer you such kind of service. Kindly note that you need to obey the rules of CANSPAM.

I think mail chimp allows you to do that. I moved my list from another service and they were perfect with me importing the list. It might work for you as well. The big companies don't do that however. :)
