Hello, I have a few questions concerning email marketing. I have a website that I optimized and doing link building, but I want to apply email marketing to get more visitors in shorter time. Which is the best solution, buy a bulk email software and send throught my email provider or subscribe a montly service that send 2.800.000 emails per day without installing anything, all for USD25/month ? Are these offers serious or are worthless and spam ?
I've heard great things about aweber (aweber.com) and have seen them used by a ton of the big name IM. They are $20USD per month or it's roughly $15 per month if you pay for the full year up front. You could use your own software, but if you dream of building up a big list one day, then stick to the web based products. I've read of some people getting blacklisted by major ISPs as spammers using software on their own PC (although I have no clue how many emails they were trying to do at once) whereas the major ISPs know who the big web-based email companies are so they never get blacklisted. Hope that helps. -Ray
thats seem a lot per day...your like hammering popular mail services like Yahoo...it would be worthless as your market on...your mails will then be subjected to spam or bulk mail and leaving you to less communicate with your members thru emails...
Email marketing isn't usually done to get more traffic. It's usually done to monetize the traffic you are getting. This is because you need to have someone's email address before you can contact them, and in order to have their address, they need to have visited one of your sites. Do not pay to send 2.8 million emails a month. They're most likely spam or poorly collected addresses, and you will tarnish your business image by using such services. I use Aweber to build my own email list, and I'm very happy with their incredibly cheap service.
Do you have other choice of marketing? Most people hate advertisement emails, and it's a big problem for me that I got more than 20 such emails per day.
Don't buy the 2.8 million per month program. Most probably old lists and untargeted and worse of all you'll likely be accused of spamming. I heard David Vallieres has an excellent e-mail marketing course but I haven't bought it. I'm not sure if it includes building lists for your e-mail campaign... David V. is different. You can subscribe to his newsletter and see how he writes his e-mails. Here's a link if you want to do that: http://thinkandsucceed.com/index.html No, I don't get any commission from him by recommending his newsletter
I didn't even catch on to that 2.8 million deal when I initially replied but at least my response was on par with the rest. I agree 100% with these guys. Don't do the 2.8 million mailings. You'll be considered to be a rip off along with those people selling fake rolex watches and fake school degrees via email (and you don't want that). If you are sure that you want to do email as an advertising method, then do some research on how to build your own email list. You typically do this by creating a page on the Internet that attracts targeted traffic and asks them to join your mailing list for more info. That would be the best way to do it.
Email marketing is a very risky game, if ur doin it, u have to make sure that your client list is highly targeted and double opt in, other wise its considered as SPAM, and now a days all most every email program is 100% Spam proof so sending mails using a bulk e-mailer probably wont work If your using web based company to do the job for you , try constant contact at http://www.constantcontact.com itz the most widely recognized and professional email marketing service with many added features Thanks Sharon http://www.goviphosting.com - 1st month free on all hosting plans
