Well Hari, autoresponder cost thousand of dollars to develop. So I doubt there is a free one but always
there are cheap ones or a trial account with only you can very limited features.. So if you want to start building a list, I recommend you to use Aweber or Getresponse depends on your budget and they do have a free trial period.

    hopes that help

Can Aweber or Getresponse detect a email was opened?
As my knowledge a picture in email is often blocked. The old method is useless.

    Hi Hari,

Try the free trail with constant contact, I have been a marketing manager for the past 2 years and this is the program I have found very useful. You can track who has opened the email and also which links within the email have been clicked.

There are various features on the program and worth a look.

You won't find anything useful for mass mailing that's free. Gmailmaster is an excellent one time payment app for mass mailing via gmail accounts.

I think you'd be better off investing a little money into a product. You could also try interspire (pirated versions everywhere) if you have a server to drop it on.

I don't recommend you to use email marketing, as most of the people do not even read these emails as they consider it as spam. But, if you decide to make email marketing, than you will need an email sender. Just try to search on google for free email sender. Most of them are good. After you have installed your email sender, you will need to configure the smtp (server used for sending emails) on that email sender. You may use the yahoo's or gmail's free smtp server if you want to send less than 100 emails per day, but if you want to send more emails than you'll have to use some paid smtp servers. Try to search for "smtp server" on google.
If you want to send free emails for one time, than you may use verticalresponse [dot] com . They are on promotion now and are offering for the new sign ups, free account and you can send 100 emails for free.

    Hi Hari Babu,
yes, you can find free autoresponder softwares for email marketing like FollowingUp.com or FreeAutoBot.com. However, they do have limitations for your email marketing campaigns.

Those popular ones will be Aweber and GetResponse. One of their features that allows you to know how many of your email readers click on the links in the email you send to them. There are many features where you cannot find in the free autoresponder softwares. If you're considering Aweber and GetResponse, hopefully you can get some idea which one to choose by reading the post "Aweber and GetResponse, which one will you choose".

Also, you can read the post "Why do we need Autoresponder?" to learn more about email marketing.

Go with Aweber. There are so many problems with getting your own in-house solution it's not even funny.

Some legitimate mailers make many thousands of dollars per day. Good job these people didn't take your 'advice'.

    Right on...

The more accomplished online marketeer will know that the money is in the list. And by doing email marketing the right way, they are indeed building the foundation to their online business. Opt-in list subscribers ( those that are interested in what you have to offer ) is basically the epitome of any IM...Without the list, you are either without a business or you are not growing as much as you should.

BTW traffic is for you to build your email marketing lists, no?
