Hello, I am going to start Email Marketing but don't know which area to focus on and for Cold Calling also. Can any one help with this. I have offices in Plano, TX and Charlotte, NC. The company offers following services Software Development, Internet Marketing, SEO, PPC, Web Design. Thanks
In order to begin email marketing you first have to build a opt-in list. I would suggest that you go to youtube and type-in email marketing to get some great free email marketing training.
For email marketing, you must have a utility through which you will conduct mass mail like mailing lists in cPanel. Also, you must have email database of your target audience. However, beware, do not send emails to people who haven't subscribed to you, or else, the hosting companies may blacklist your IP. Therefore, the best way to start is, get subscribers who really want to receive updates from you. Once you have the subscription list, you can use any good utility for mass email.
First focus point for both can be opt-in list and calling list for Email marketing and cold calling respectively. Starting with it and after that emailing software, spam policy and more.
Do not attempt to "build Rome" in one day, spamming people will leave you with nothing but frustrations and a bad reputation. Take your time, learn the ropes of list building and email marketing, and do it diligently. With this, success will never leave you alone!
Focus on building your list, but first driving TARGETED traffic to your opt in page. Cold calling I can't really help you with, but good luck!
I suggest that you purchase a list first and e-mail blast afterwards have a cold calling campaign to follow up on those contacts. You can focus on one area first, then the next one. This way you have a more focused attention.
Build a squeeze page with a good conversion opt-in form at the first place. Get an autoresponder. Look for a few affiliate products that you interested in. Usually they will provide you some email templates. Insert them into your autoresponder. Plan a sales funnel. Use "buddy email." Talk to your subscribers (send email) as if you are talking to your best friends, build relationship with them and provide value to help them solve their problem.
