I almost can't believe it myself. I have a small list (man, that sounds like a confessional or something), but its getting bigger. Sent out my first email, totally sales email, and within 20 minutes I had a sale. Build your list people! Paid for two months of Aweber with that one sale.
Lists are the mighty tool of Joint Venture Affiliates. These affiliates constantly and consistently promote. How did you think those publishers have $1Million+ launches? If you have a list through aweber or another reputable email marketing firm, they can guarantee to a certain extent that the email message is deliverable and will pass through anti-spam filters without a problem. They are also CAN-SPAM compliant, which alleviates anybody crying about spam issues. I also forgot, it doesn't tax the bandwidth of your hosting service, and if there ever was a spam complaint, your hosting would not get hit, but aweber would instead take the heat. my two cents, as I am finalizing my search for an email service as I will change from my old php/mysql solution to one of these providers. tom
Yep, sure does. I made over $100 from one email when my list was barely over 100 subscribers. 'tis awesome for sure.
Could you give me some tips, I'm currently building my email lists, I need some guidance. Do you start selling right away, do you just send them free cool stuff, and after a certain period of time/after a few e-mails, promote your affiliate link... or start mentioning the affiliate product from the very beginning?
Eh, email marketing is "OK"... definitely not a strong point in my arsenal. If you're doing well with it then more power to you. I don't have that much success.
This will be laughable I am sure, but I only have ten people on my list, as I started to pursue a list system just recently for goforextrade. I am looking to gear towards a real hardcore list building plan and try to get at least a 1000 emails by years end. If I can do this faster, then the more the better! Ripped, Depends on the product. A lot of these JV campaigns are have pre-made emails that are dispersed in a certain timeframe before the product launches.
A qualified list is priceless... but to maintain a high quality opt-in list you should never abuse it by sending out only sales emails (you will quickly lose members if you only send sales emails). I guess the key is to mix useful newsletter content with some sales... maybe for every 5 messages sent, one of them would be a sales pitch while the other 4 would be offering information and tips etc
I've been putting off getting into list building for a LONG time as I hated the idea of doing any sort of EMail marketing. It's not until I've got my own product that I finally decided to try it. So far my list has _3_ members (I had the optin on my site just for a couple of days and took it down since I wasn't getting enough signups) ... and already I've made a sale through the list. If that's any indication of the kind of money you can make through a list ... well good stuff, eh? --- The opt-in box will be a part of my salesletter's new design. I was going to have it pop-in but I think that a pop-in box combined with the video spokes model I want to add would be too much going on at once and would likely annoy customers. I also want to do an exit down-sell. I guess I could replace the exit down-sell with an exit opt-in but... hmm so many choices.
