I find this crazy.. My Email list sends good messages with useful info. The people double opt in, every email has an "Unsubscribe" link which works, and no emails have "shady" marketing techniques like "Buy Before Midnight and Save".. They just have good free information, and a link to a product page. I get emails from people telling me how they print my emails out, and view me as a guide, and how they appreciate my emails. I get many questions, and interested people contacting me wanting more. Even through all this, you still get some meat heads that click that "Report Spam" button in their mail accounts. Aweber Emails you the spam complaint. It seems these people see 1 outside link to a product and decide "This person is trying to make money!!!!" SPAM... CLICK... What do they expect? They sign up to receive Emails from an online store. Anyways, my question is, what methods can be taken to prevent these spam reports? How many spam reports is considered acceptable by email providers? I just added a sentence in each followup reminding them that they opted in and can unsubscribe anytime with the link below, but I doubt this will have much effect, and it takes up the first line in the emails. Any advice?
Well, that is a sad case. Early in this year, i have somebody sending out tonne of spam mails pretending it sending from my site, and eventually my site got black listed by some so-called anti-spam society. No matter how careful you are, there are always some worthless meat head who try to destroy you.. My advice is that, just do not care about those persons, just continue what you are doing..
