I just created an email list of a few thousand emails. I know I have seen online programs for free where I can just give the list and email it but I cant find it anymore.

Anyone have a suggestion how I can email my list out the easiest?

    Thanks

Most are only free for Very Small list to get you hooked :) under 500 emails. I use constantcontact the charge but i think its worth the charge for templates etc...

I've used three good ones. But they're not free, Aaron (sorry).

    cheetahmail
    yesmail
    emaillabs

    All three have excellent deliverablity.

Actually I figured out how to make an email list in cPanel and send it out. Looks like it worked ok.

    Thanks though. :)

    Were these marketing emails?

It's usually best to send emails during the day. I've found mid-week afternoons deliveries get the best response.

It was to all the webmasters at .edu college domains requesting them to add a link to their resources. So I dont think the time mattered for this one.

This is a little off topic, but how exactly do people make good money with emails?

Where is the line drawn between legitimate emails and spam? I know lists are made by visitors to a website, but is there anywhere else to get real email lists that aren't going to be total spam?

I've read stories about people make 1 mil+/year with mailers, but just don't see how this is done...

IF you get enough email of site visitors a site that has XXX,xxx users a day can easier get 1000s of email and if it is a niche and send them a deal on a topic Bingo instant sales.... Email works best if Seriously targeted audience... I have found and tried off target response rate is much less.

I have no clue about that I just manually made a list. First one I ever did and emailed off.

Yeah, I didn't get the impression this was your intention. I just had always wondered and this seemed like a good time to inquire. Sorry for hijacking your thread.

I have been contemplating using the e-mail blaster tool, which claims to send your email to 2.5 million recipients who have "opted in" to receive such advertising media, but does anyone have any experience of using this technique to attract visitors to a site, or sell products by email by affiliate marketing.

I am also on a quest to find a suitable email list manager and i found the one from anologx very interesting.

I am really interested in one with mail merging features for making personalized messages so i don't think the one above can supply me this.

Then i found a couple of free ones on snapfiles where you will find some interesting ones as well, with mail merging features.
So much supply and not a clue which to choose.

    Good luck though!
