Just after some advice here regarding email, sorry if I have posted in the wrong forum...

I was wondering is it best to have your email hosted with your hosting provider or with a third party service like windows live or google mail?

Also how can I set up email for my clients in Outlook so that it syncs with the email server, for example deleting a message in Outlook should delete the message on the server.

It depends on your service provider. If your host provides good email service you can use their service or else you can go for third party service.

Outlook configuration may change depending on the provider you select.

Well I was more concerned about what happens if you were to switch hosting providers. You would lose all your emails wouldn't you. I'm just trying to figure out what would be the best way to set up email for my clients.

It is good to have the third party email services such as hotmail and gmail. I think they are more reliable than the email hosted by the web hosting companies.
