We have around 50 domains that are registered for various projects, many on a "just in case we need it" basis. As a result, of those 50 domains, around 40 have no active email addresses other than the postmaster and abuse addresses (I like to be RFC compliant). Of the other 10, there are 4 POP3 accounts spread across a couple of domains, a couple of distribution lists (not mailing lists, just distribution), and a bunch of forwarding addresses. Right now I host these on a box in our DMZ but we're changing some servers around and if I can find a decent host that can do this cheaply enough it may not be worth the hassle of hosting it ourselves. I really don't need anything all singing and dancing, but something where you pay for a package with X mailboxes and Y domains would be ideal as $10/domain/year is still quite pricey when there's virtually no email traffic at all (as I said, most of it's just to be RFC compliant). Any suggestions would be welcome (our registrar doesn't provide mail forwarding at reasonable prices). Thanks. ps. as a quick afterthought, we also host our own primary DNS for all those domains, I'm open to a provider who does DNS and Email without having to use them as a registrar as we are very happy with the current one.
