Hello, I have a phisher and it's hosted on an offshore hosting account, and it's registered with NameCheap.com. A few days ago Viacom sent me this email: They sent the email to NameCheap, and my hosting. NameCheap opened up a support ticket for Viacom: But then a few hours later NameCheap email me back a copy of Neopet's letter and the support ticket, but this time it said "Status: Closed" Now, I'm not sure what I need to/should do, NameCheap didn't remove my domain, and the host is still up; the website works fine. Do I ignore the email or what?
By the looks of the website, you are definitely in violation of the law and you know that very well. Its also a bold move to publicize it here. Anyway, if NameCheap does actually examine this matter, you can expect them to cancel your domain as this is in their registration agreement. Registration Agreement Section 6:
But they havn't done anything yet? Should I close down my host or just ignore it until NC closes the domain?
If you close it now, you may have an amicable settlement yet. If you want till they close down for you, I am afraid you will be in deep shit. BTW are you so proud of your phishing site?
close down and pry and hop that they done deside to file a suit agenst you because i think you may just lose
I am very ashamed that you are a Phisher and even more shocked that you admit it. Cyber Crime is something that is not good, PURE EVIL. I believe that you are in lots of trouble with publishing their email also. ~ Mike
Am I missing something? If I read this correctly, you are personally commiting a criminal act and then asking us if you should stop doing so. If that is the case, then this forum is certainly the wrong place to be asking such a question.
i see that you redirected it to neopets.com . What was wrong with your site? what exactly were you doing wrong that they scared you?
