definitely given them a call or send them a message - it looks like things will be cleared up quickly but it's sort of scarry to get such a message... I don't check my email like I should that i have listed with them and it'd be terrible if you (or me!) just lost CJ income and recognition for what looks like a simple mistake (on their part)! Good luck to you and hope everything works out with CJ. It looks like it should : )

    hi
and thanks for the replies again.
i think im in a bit of a stick because ive earned £347.87 in 5 weeks.
but ive also earned over $297 in 18 days (but this is from a diff programme)
and all this was done without a website and no product so maybe they are having a go because they dont know where the money is coming from:(
maybe i have stumbled upon a really good money making system:)

i would like to think so:)

The email says that CJ believes you are using some sort of incentive to get people to use your site and/or click through your links. CJ's email indicates that you have either NOT designated your site as an incentive or may have designated as incentive but not fully or properly given details.

There are many Advertisers who will not work with incentive sites. CJ takes this seriously, contact them and fix it now.

In a way, it's not because incentive sites pay people to simply signup for a site/service, thus most of the time leading to no true returning member/purchaser. Most of the time the company may lose money for that. So to try and keep things more legitimate, they do not allow incentive sites.

Placing links within an ebook (assuming PDF) will cause when the customer clicks on the link for it to go to the advertisers site. However when you do this there is no referring domain in the tracking link (as it came directly from the users computer).

What CJ is looking for is if you are using adware, malware, or some sort of program/software based advertising method.

Tell them exactly in your reply that you include the link(s) in ebooks and such. Depending on the advertiser(s) used their TOS may or may not allow for such advertising.

The flags are raised because the links did not include a referring URL. To CJ that is a clear indicator there is something up.

in hindsight, you probably should have encoded all your links to a site that redirects to the advertiser.

Fix it, or somehow get everyone who has your ebook to delete it, lol.
