I got an email from Google saying "Your account has been selected to participate in a limited test of an exciting new targeting feature for AdSense. In the next few days we will enable cost-per-action (CPA) ads to compete in your AdSense for content ad units on a limited portion of your traffic, 5% or less of all ad impressions. " There is more, but you get the idea, did any of you get the email ? What do you think, should I let them uses my sites as test sites? I can opt out if I like.
do you have any experience with affiliate ads on your site? they don't work with the majority of sites on the 'net, because it usually requires traffic that is looking to buy a product.
But Google tells me that they want to test it on my sites because they believe that I will earn more that way. Well, I will let it run for a week or so and see if I notice any difference.
ok login you check that and reply in this thread about your improvement , you can earn more if you have targeted visitors .
If they said that you will learn more with their CPA's then I would just believe them. Why try it for only one week ? I would give it more time.
what do you mean by "targeted" are they looking to buy a product, are they looking for information, or are they looking to be entertained?
then the information that they are looking for is not part of a decision-buying process, right? for instance, you don't have any product reviews up on the site? i'm thinking that adsense cpa won't work well there, but please let us know how it goes. and be sure to check out the advertiser link to the landing page, sometimes its not even relevant to what they are selling
I dont know if they are in a buying process or not, they might be. I have not been doing much affiliate stuff, just adsense so I cant tell if my visitors are buying or not.
If you've got such a good site that Adsense CPA will work for you, I'm pretty sure that you weren't using adsense in the first place.
