Email forms

    Do we require SMTP in our host to be able to use email forms in our website?

    only if youre using smtp to send out the mail.

    i guess not necessarly ..
    in website email forms if u use PHP scripting it uses sendmail function to send mails while in ASP it use CDONTS..and i think we dont need anything else for using email forms.. just a server with any of these two functions enabled.

    i use smtp to send the emails... thats my suggestion
