if real it is junk science since there is no control group. The cause for the "addiction" pre-exists the study and that cause may be the reason for the lethargy and lack of focused thinking.

    Absolutely. Including the claim that

In fact, there is good research suggesting exactly the oppposite conclusion.

The real danger is theregister.co.uk -- that actually rots brain cells instantly: look at what it's done to mu$hroom

What do you mean by "redirect"? It's not a difficult task to forward email, if that's what you mean... although I'm not sure what that has to do with Twinkies or getting slapped by your wife...

The point was that you could do a study on anything. (Ill keep the satire to a minimum, since it tends to float high above heads of some)

As far as redirecting the email (once again a satirical point made to poke fun at post doctoral studies on anything).

Let me dumb it down a notch! Coalition figures between IQ scores of pc using students and IQ scores of non-pc using students have no possible collation to the “dumbing down of America “ or the rest of the world. The dumbing down of students start with the teachers, parents etc.

Yes. And there are well-done studies and junk studies.

    File under "lead balloons"?

No need to dumb it down any further, whitedove... just try to make it a bit clearer.

re: "coalition" and "collation" -- I think you mean "correlation". But I would agree with "The dumbing down of students start with the teachers, parents"...
